Ich habe mich schon lange nicht mehr zeichnerisch herausgefordert und habe beschlossen, das jetzt mal zu tun. Wenn ich etwas gar nicht mag, dann ist es, Hintergründe und damit Landschaften und Gebäude zu zeichnen. Jetzt wollte ich mich aber mal herantrauen. Die Idee hinter dem Bild war, dass es aussehen sollte, als käme es aus einem Videospiel. Als ich dann die Häfte des Bildes ausgearbeitet habe, fing ich an, mich sehr zu ärgern, dass ich es in mein Skizzenbuch statt auf Acrylpapier gezeichnet habe. Irgendwie schreit es danach bunt und mit Acryl zu sein. Mit dem Ergebnis bin ich dennoch zufrieden.

I have not challanged myself when it comes to my art in a while and decided it was time I do so again. If there is one thing, I don’t like it is to draw backgrounds, meaning landscapes and buildings. But I wanted to try it out now. The idea behind this was that it should look like something out of a video game. When I was half way finished, I started to get annoyed that I drew it into my sketch book instead of on paper for acrylic paint. It screams to be colored in acryl. I am satisfied with the end result though.
