Ich hatte früher eine Obsession mit Kimonos, habe aber schon lange keinen mehr gezeichnet. Diese Woche hatte ich wieder Lust dazu. Und natürlich musste ich wieder den Fokus auf die Haare legen. 😉 Die Welle im Hintergrund basiert auf der Großen Welle vor Kanagawa von Katsushika Hokusai.

Noch bin ich nicht ganz bereit, wieder auf einen wöchentlichen Hochladezyklus zurückzukehren, da ich mich immer noch ein bisschen schwierig mit dem Zeichnen tue. Allerdings hatte ich Lust, an dem Blog etwas zu ändern. Vor allem, weil mich die langen Ladezeiten gestört haben und ich gern ein Theme wollte, das den Fokus mehr auf die Bilder als den Text legt. Ich glaube, das war eine gute Entscheidung.

I used to have an obsession with kimonos but I have not drawn one in a while. This week I was in the mood to do that. And of course I had to put the focus on the hair again. 😉 The wave in the background is based on the Great Wave off Kanagawa by Katsushika Hokusai.

I am not ready to go back to a weekly posting schedule yet since I still have trouble motivating myself to draw. However, I was in the mood to change something on the blog. Especially, since it has been bugging me vor a while that it needs so long to load and because I wanted to have a theme that places more emphasis on the pictures instead of the text. I think this was a good decision.
