Das ist eines von vier Minibildern, an denen ich gerade als Übung arbeite. Ich wollte besser darin werden, Farbauswahlen zu treffen und sie so zu benutzen, dass sie den besten Kontrast und die beste Atmosphäre geben. Außerdem ist das das erste mal seit einer ganzen Weile, dass ich wieder etwas mit Gouachefarbe gemalt habe, welche ich aus Nostalgie neu gekauft hab. Als ich noch zur Schule ging (bevor ich besser darin wurde, Aquarell anzuwenden), habe ich viel mit Gouache gearbeitet und ich wollte wieder etwas produzieren, bei dem man diesen pastosen Farbauftrag sieht. Außerdem habe ich versucht, ein wenig zu variieren, wie ich die Farbe auftrage: Nicht von hell zu dunkel, sondern von Hintergrund zu Vordergrund „objektweise“. Das ist auch der Grund, warum ihr bei ihren Armen verschiedene Stadien des Farbauftrages seht. Außerdem habe ich das Auge verhunzt, also habe ich drüber gemalt, um eine sauberen Hintergrund zu haben, um den Fehler später zu korrgieren. Ich werde euch updaten. 😉

This is one of four miniature paintings I currently work on as an exercise. I want to become better at choosing color palettes and using them in a way that gives the best contrast and atmosphere. Also, this is the first time in quite a while that I have been using gouache paints which I newly bought out of nostalgia. When I was still in school (before I became more skilled with watercolor) I used to work with gouache a lot and I wanted to get back to this pastose feeling of the color. I simultanously tried to vary the way I put the paints on this time: Not from dark to light, but from foreground to background „objectwise“, which is why you see different stages in her arms. And I messed up on her left eye, so I painted it over to have a clean slate for when I correct the mistake. You will be updated on this. 😉
