Bevor ich mit 30 ways to fill a sketchbook weitermache, möchte ich eine kleine Zeichnung mit euch teilen, die ihren Weg in meine Doktorarbeit über Augenbewegungen bei ästhetischen Entscheidungen gefunden hat. Ich habe sie am Montag endlich eingereicht. Die Figur in der Mitte trägt einen mobilen Eye-Tracker (Den ich nicht benutzt habe. Wir haben einen stationären Tisch-Eye-Tracker). Im Hintergrund seht ihr Johannes Vermeer`s „Das Mädchen mit dem Perlenohrgehänge“. Als kleiner Disclaimer: Das Gemälde habe ich in de Arbeit nicht benutzt und die Augenbewegungen basieren nicht auf tatsächlichen Daten. Ich mag das Gemälde nur sehr gern. 😉

Before I go back to 30 ways to fill a sketchbook, I am sharing a small drawing with you that I put in the thesis about eye movements in response to aesthetic decisions. I finally handed it in on Monday. The character in the middle is wearing a mobile eye tracker (Which I did not use to record eye movements. Ours is a stationary desktop-based one). In the background you see eye movements on Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with pearl earring”. Just as a disclaimer, I did not use this painting in my projects and the eye movements are not based on actual data. I just like the painting a lot. 😉
