Dieses Bild war ein Kampf. Wenn ich Menschen zeichne, teile ich sie normalerweise in geometrische Formen, zeichne die groben Umrisse und füge nach und nach Details hinzu. Zwar habe ich versucht, erst größer Flächen für die Hintergrundfarbe und dann erst Details einzuzeichnen, doch ich hatte das gleichzeitige Gefühl, dass ich mit dem Pinsel nur orientierungslos auf dem Papier rumtupfe. Das Gras war besonders schwierig und man kann sehen, dass ich bei den Mauern etwas schluderig geworden bin (Hier ist das Referenzbild). Um etwas Positives zu sagen: Ich mag den Baum sehr, aber ich habe auch bemerkt, dass ich es über meine vielen menschlichen Figuren vernachlässigt habe, diese Art von Motiv zu üben. Habt ihr Rat für Verbesserungen, ihr Landschaftsmaler und -malerinnen?
This one was a struggle. Normally, when I draw humans, I divide them into geometric figures, draw the rough shapes and gradually add more detail. While I tried painting in the basic splotches of background color first and then add little details, I felt like I was just dabbing my brush over the paper aimlessly. It was especially difficult with the grass and I guess you can see that I became a little sloppy when painting the walls (reference picture here). To say something positive: I do like how the tree turned out, but it made me notice that I have neglected practicing this sort of subject over drawing humans. Do you have any advice on how to improve this, landscape artists?
