Während ich über das nächste Comicprojekt nachdenke, nehme ich mir Zeit, etwas anderes auszuprobieren. Vor ein paar Jahren war ich ganz davon eingenommen, diese detaillierten Gelstiftskizzen zu zeichnen. Dabei plane ich nichts im Voraus. Stattdessen zeichne ich einfach, was mir spontan in den Sinn kommt. Als erstes wollte ich nur die Perspektive trainieren und beim Ausfüllen des Haares ein bisschen Achtsamkeit üben. Dann hatte ich die Idee, Flugzeuge hinzuzufügen. Was zu der Entscheidung führte, dass sich das Haar in Wolken umwandeln sollte. Eine Sache führte zur nächsten und am Ende finde ich, dass es aussieht, als würde ein Sturm von oben hereinbrechen. Was meint ihr?

While I am thinking of what kind of comic project to do next, I am taking some time to do something different. Back a few years ago, I was obsessed with making these detailed gel pen sketches. The procedure for these is not to plan out anything. Instead I just draw what comes to my mind. So first, I just wanted to practice drawing the perspective and do some mindfulness exercises with filling in the hair. Then I had the idea to add airplanes. Which prompted me to make the hair transform into clouds instead. One thing led to the other and in the end, I thought it looked like a storm was approaching from above. What do you think?
