Eigentlich wollte ich diese Woche mit diesem Bild fertig werden, aber mein Arm hat mir mal wieder einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht. Ich habe jetzt jedenfalls eine Pause gelegt und kühle ihn regelmäßig. Soweit bin ich aber positiv überrascht, wie das Bild bis jetzt aussieht. Was ist neu? Ich habe versucht mich auf weniger Farben zu beschränken und habe sie zunächst erst einmal nur grob gegeneinandergesetzt, später erst vermischt. Der Mund ist noch nicht fertig und das von uns rechte Auge muss noch korrigiert werden, bevor es an die Haare geht. Aber so weit so gut!

The plan was to finish this piece this week, but the pains in my arm are acting up again. I am taking a break now and putting it on ice from time to time. So far, I am positively surprised at how the picture is turning out. What is new? I tried to use only few colors and put them coarsely next to each other first before blending. The mouth is not finished, and the right eye is yet to be corrected before I start the hair. But so far so good!
